Natural fertility
What is natural fertility care?
Natural fertility care envolves the use of naturopathic medicine to promote optimum reproductive health.
This can include balancing hormones, regulating the menstrual cycle, improving egg and sperm health and ensuring that there are no nutritional deficiencies which could be harmful to reproduction.
How does it work?
Natural fertility care works to improve fertility outcomes by enhancing your own fertility.
Many things can affect your fertility levels, and whether your fertility issues are coming from a disease such as endometriosis or a simple nutrient deficiency, Katherine has the answers to bring you into your best state of reproductive health.
How long does it take?
Katherine's approach to natural fertility is individualised to each person. At your first consultation, a suggested time frame for your natural fertility management will be discussed, as well as which treatments you may require as part of your plan.
Naturopathy
Why naturopathy for fertility?
Naturopathy works by helping the body heal itself using remedies sourced from nature, like herbal medicines and nutrients. There are many herbs that are used to balance the menstrual cycle and restore reproductive health. By using these herbs in combination with specific nutritional supplements and dietary advice to optimise nutrition, a better state of reproductive health can be acheived.
Who can naturopathy help?
Naturopathy can help almost anyone wanting to conceive. Katherine commonly deals with treating infertility due to many factors , including endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and irregular periods.
Preconception care is also important even if you are healthy, as this will ensure that your baby has the chance for the best possible start to life.
Katherine sees many couples as being subfertile rather than infertile, due to imbalances in the body that are often easily corrected.
